March Madness. Every basketball fan’s worst nightmare when it comes to predicting the bracket. In fact, the chances of getting a perfect bracket is almost one in nine quintillion. But that doesn’t stop them from trying… and from winning a nice cash prize. Let’s dive into who is projected to win in this year’s NCAA.

UConn

This first seeded team just knocked out Stetson in a not so close game of 91-52. Many star celebrities have chosen UConn to represent them as the best NCAA team yet. Donovan Clingan, Cam Spencer, and Alex Karaban all put up good efforts, but it was Swenson who led the charge, and the win for UConn. They are to play the 9th seeded Northwestern next.

Duke

This team, although 4th seeded, is always the favorite pick of someone’s bracket (mine), but let’s take a look at their score lines. 64-47 over the 13th seed Vermont. They are to play 12th seeded James Madison next (who won in an upset over Wisconsin). Jared McCain and Bogues leading the scoring sheet to a convincing win.

University of Houston

Projected to win by many as well, this team features a group of talented players who have the ability to defeat anyone in their path. Winning with an equally impressive score of 86-46, with Cryer leading the score sheet with 17, they are stopping at nothing. Impressive range on three pointers and more can be showcased with this 1st seeded team.

UNC

This 1st seeded team is nothing to scoff at either. They feature insane alley-oop dunks and great team chemistry. With a 90-62 win game, they are also projected to succeed and go far in this tournament with players like Davis racking up 22 points per game.

Purdue

The last 1st seeded team’s star player is a center. This 7’4 300 pound dominates the field and carries the Purdue team with almost half of their points (30) in a 78-50 win against Grambling. Moton not too far behind with 21 points should also be recognized.

All in all, March Madness has a ton of upsets, heroes, and dark horses, but for now, the 1st seeds are all still in it to win it, with a few sneaky picks as well.
