We all know that Laker Pride and HERD love aside, MLHS is somewhat lacking in school spirit. The sad truth is that we cannot even be convinced to wear pajamas to school. This is something that would take even less effort than one would normally put into getting ready because it does not require getting dressed.
“Just roll out of bed,” they say. “Show us your Laker spirit,” they say–but sadly, we MLHS-ers would rather do more work to avoid accidentally showing school spirit. Rejecting the lure of fleece and slippers, we show up in actual clothes.
Yet in this sea of apathy there is one man whose school spirit knows no bounds. A man known to walk the halls on Halloween in a scuba mask and flippers. A man who is not afraid to wear a onesie to his place of business not once, but twice in one week. This week we pay homage to a true blue Mountain Lakes hero: Mr. Brandon Horn, we salute you!
