After spending this spring break together, we can highly recommend traveling with friends–as long as you don’t kill each other before you even get on the plane! We spent just over a week together on the East Coast of Florida, where we documented the outfits that we wore on our trip. Check them out below!

Jumpsuits

Lately, jumpsuits have been making a comeback, replacing dresses. They’re appearing on runways, and on celebrities such as Jessica Alba, Kate Hudson, and Emma Watson. The jumpsuit that I’m wearing here is from Forever 21. The vertical stripes make me–a 5’8” girl–look even taller. This illusion, created by stripes, adds style to any look.

Gingham

Recently, I discovered Shein, a website with affordable and fashionable clothing. This gingham, spaghetti-strap slip dress cost about $10. This was an extremely reasonable price for the dress’s quality, seeing that the material has begun to fray on the inside of the dress. Gingham is an up-and-coming trend in fashion this spring; according to the website “Who What Wear”, gingham is incredibly easy to style and “will make you feel so French.”

Vertical Stripes

Okay, I love stripes. Ida introduced me to the website Shein, where I bought these pants for a little over $15. It was a great purchase. These high-waisted pants pair well with a solid black crop top because the simpler, shorter shirt allows the pants to stand on their own, and you get the full effect of the look. The combination of heels and vertical stripes gives me more height and more confidence.

Boho-chic

Here, I’m wearing an off-the-shoulder, white, flowy shirt, paired with some black high-waisted shorts from H&M. To add a boho finish to the look, we found a straw hat. The hat made this outfit great for the sun, but I found the shirt a little annoying. The top kept slipping over my shoulders, which wasn’t great for doing activities. Overall, I liked feeling boho-chic wearing this–mostly because I loved the hat.

Americana

Coca-cola is iconic, so to achieve an iconic look, we stopped in the supermarket to take a picture. I love collared shirts; despite their reputation, they don’t actually have to be super formal. This shirt is cropped, with sleeves rolled into a mid-sleeve length. Since it already has a pattern, I decided to wear it with a simple, ripped pair of jean shorts. It’s a great outfit to spend a sunny day in!
