Our legal system does not currently protect the people’s basic environmental rights we need to survive. The Green Amendment is an amendment to the Bill of Rights section of the constitution safeguarding these rights for all New Jersey citizens, while placing them on par with other valued freedoms such as the freedom of speech and the right to bear arms.
