However, most of the song is steeped in sarcasm and responds to haters with lyrics such as

It’s impossible to ignore that this song is addressing Ariana’s relationship with her Wicked costar, Ethan Slater. The release of all of these versions is clearly a play for the No. 1 spot. This upset many fans, as it feels like Grande does not truly care about her music.

Eternal Sunshine, Ariana’s next album, was announced on Instagram shortly after the release of “Yes, And?” on January 17th. The cover art and the release date, March 8th, were also released. Fans are excited as Grande has not released an album since Positions in 2020, aside from a few collaborations and a 10th anniversary re-release of her debut record Yours Truly.
