“ACE! ACE! ACE!” A chorus erupts from the crowd of supportive parents, siblings and teammates as the Lakers score yet another point. Every girl from the other 2 teams, whether Varsity, JV, or Freshman, lines up to watch the players get ready for yet another rally. The energy is through the roof as the stands call for the server to “DO IT AGAIN”, with every girl standing and chanting as loud as they can. The sisterhood ranges from the most experienced seniors to the freshmen trying something new. But no matter the level, age, or experience, everyone cheers for the Lakers on every rally, set, and game.
Through the course of the volleyball season, the players have been racking up more and more stats. Zoie Feit, Lyla Wills, Lucia Cina, and Karly Ross have all achieved an impressive 100 digs this season. On October 8th, the girls volleyball team celebrated their Senior Night. The seniors congratulated were captains Charlotte Caggiano and Karly Ross, Divsha Arora, and team managers Isabelle Woodlee, Jamie Polachek, and Noelle Zollner. Every girl celebrated these 6 seniors and came together to highlight the efforts and accomplishments of these wonderful players and managers.
Thanks to Coach Lentz, Coach Brewer, and Coach Covart, every girl on the team has had her moment to shine and be appreciated. The spirit of their team and the energy that the girls bring to every game is what truly shapes the Mountain Lakes Girls Volleyball Team.
